Originally one house, now 2. C16. Timber framed and plastered, lined in
imitation of ashlar. Pantiled roof. 2 storeys. Continuous jetty to street
on original brackets, with exposed joist-ends. 3 windows, C18-C19 casements
with a single horizontal glazing bar to each light. 2 4-panel doors, reached
by short flights of steps. Internal stack with C19 shaft. Small C19
colourwashed brick addition to left forms part of No.42. Interior not
examined, the timbers said to be mostly concealed.
