House and restaurant. C16. Timber framed, roughcast-rendered, glazed black
pantiled roof. 3-cell form. 2 storeys. 3 2-light cross-paned casement
windows to upper floor. On ground floor, a canted bay with central 6-paned
sash window (left), a late C19 8-paned shop window (centre) and a 20-paned
sash window (right). Lobby entrance: 6-panel door, the upper 2 panels glazed.
Stack has C19 axial shaft. Interior. Hall and service end have chamfered
axial bridging beams, the joists concealed. Service partition has square-
headed doorways, one incomplete. Upper floor not examined.
