House. Early C17 left cell, c.1700 right cell; one-storey mid C20 wing to
right. Timber framed and plastered, lined to imitate ashlar. Thatched roof.
2 storeys. 2-cell form, different origins. Casement windows, mainly of C19
date. Central doorway with plank door. Gable stacks, that to the right
placed externally. Interior. Left cell was once attached to further work to
the left: exposed studding, straight arched braces. Ceiling of ground floor
has raised bridging beam and chamfered joists, set flat. Open fireplace.
Original roof with wind-braced side purlins. Right cell has exposed studs on
upper floor; small blocked window with diamond mullions; upper floor structure
largely renewed mid C20.
