House. Later C17; converted into 2 cottages in C18 and back into one dwelling
c.1965. Timber framed, roughcast-rendered, thatched roof. 2-cell, lobby
entry type. 2 storeys. 2 windows, old 3-light casements with slender
horizontal glazing bars. Mid C20 gabled porch with plank door. Stack has red
brick cross-axial shaft. Interior. 4-bay frame, most of studding concealed.
Floorbeam in room to right has run-out stops, boxed-in beam in left room; in
both rooms the joists are plastered over. Several C18 doors, C18 former
cottage stair in right cell. Roof has clasped purlins.
