Public house. C17. Timber framed and rendered, with some mid C20 pargetted
panels. Pantiled roof, with glazed black tiles to the front slope. 1½
storeys. 3 windows, 4-light casements, 2 with horizontal glazing bars. Lobby
entrance: slated porch with mid C20 standard door flanked by older small-paned
windows. 4 gabled dormers with 3-light windows. Internal stack has square
shaft, the front containing a segmental-headed panel with C20 Fleur-de-lys.
Later stacks at each gable end. Interior. Modernised, with very little of
the structure visible. Square oak joists exposed in one section of ground
floor ceiling. Plain unsooted rafters set flat. Included for group value.
