Former farmhouse. Early C17. Timber framed and rendered, thatched roof. 2-
cell, lobby entry form. 2 storeys and attic. C20 small-paned casement
windows. Mid C20 gabled porch with boarded door. Stack has axial shaft, the
lower part of narrow brick. One-storey lean-to additions on left gable end
and at rear. Interior. 3-bay frame, the studs plastered over. Rooms on
ground floor have axial floorbeams with ogee stop-chamfers and open fireplaces
with original lintols. One upper ceiling has plain joists set flat. Newel
stair. Clasped purlin roof.
