Former farmhouse. C15 core with C16-C17 alteration and enlargement, forming a
single long range. Timber framed and plastered, thatched roof. 2 storeys. 4
windows, various C19 casements. To left of centre is a 6-panel door (upper
2 panels glazed) and open timber porch. 2 internal stacks, both with rendered
shafts, the heavier and probably earlier to the right. The left gable end,
which is faced in C19 red brick below eaves level, has 2 mid C20 reproduction
diamond-mullioned windows. Interior not examined, the core said to contain a
former open hall.
