GV II

House. Early C18. Timber-framed and rendered with traces of comb pargetting;
old plaintiles. 2 storeys; L-shaped plan. Front range with 2 end chimney
stacks with plain rebuilt red brick shafts. Wood modillion cornice. 3
windows to each storey: 2 3-light and one central 2-light, all old casements
with pintle hinges, those to the ground storey with transomes; C20 clear
glass. Rear wing, similarly treated, contains the entry, within a small
single-storey porch with tripartite tiled roof. Further later extensions at
the rear. Frame mainly concealed inside; a brick in one fireplace is dated
1708.
