3/14 Barn 40m, north east of
- Craven's Manor

GV II

Barn. C17 with various later additions. Timber framed, clad in tarred
weatherboarding; roof clad in tarred corrugated iron sheeting. originally a
5-bay structure, although most of the south bay is missing and the gable end
here is C18. A good intact frame with a middle rail. Long arched-braces to
the open trusses, 2 now replaced by knees; at the south end there are 2
trusses together, perhaps due to the failure of the original tie beam. The
roof has clasped and butt purlins with arched wind-bracing between.
