Farmhouse. C16. Timber framed and plastered; roof of glazed black pantiles. 2
storeys and attic. 3 cell form. 3 windows, 3-light and 4-light mullion and
transom casements: some are C18 and others mid C20 copies. Mid C20 entrance
door in the position of the cross-passage. Internal stack. At the rear is an
original cavetto-moulded mullioned window at first floor level with 2 further
original windows visible inside. The interior has much exposed timbering,
with many original doors and old floorboarding. At the service end there are
paired square-headed doorways with original doors. Newel stairs, the lower
flight rebuilt. Clasped purlin roof with arched wind-bracing.
