Former rectory, now private residence. Late C18 with early C19 2-bay addition
to garden front. Red brick, formerly colourwashed; slated roof. 2 storeys.
The garden front (facing south) has 4 windows, sashes with glazing bars in
flush frames under cambered brick arches; the right hand wing extends to
ground level. Asymmetrical entrance bay, slightly inset; doorway with inset
6-panel bolection-moulded door, semi-circular fanlight with radiating glazing
bars, panelled reveals, Tuscan pilasters and entablature. Symmetrical 3-bay
road front: windows as garden front; doorway with tapering fluted pilasters,
frieze and modillion cornice; boarded door, the cover strips forming
longitudinal arched panels.
