Pastures Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Early C17 with mid C20 full-height addition to right. Timber
framed, now encased in C19 colourwashed brick; plaintiled roof. 2 storeys and
attic. Originally 2 cell form. 3 windows, 3-light large-paned casements
under segmental arches. Plank door to left and C20 half-glazed door to right.
Internal stack. Some of the frame is visible on the first floor and both
original ground floor rooms have exposed chamfered joists. Newel stairs. The
roof has clasped purlins with arched wind-bracing.
