Farmhouse. C16, with mid C19 addition on the north end. Part 2 storeys, part
one storey and attics; basic 2-cell lobby-entrance form; set sideways-on to
road. Timber-framed and rendered; the C19 addition in red brick with high
copings to the gable; clay pantiled roofs. An internal chimney-stack with a
plain rebuilt red brick shaft, slightly corbelled at the head. A gabled
dormer to each roof-slope of the brick section, having 3-light casement
windows with a single horizontal bar to lights. Fluted bargeboards to both
dormers and gables. The remaining windows are 3-light and 4-light C19
casements with a single horizontal bar to lights and segmental arched heads to
frames and surrounds. The entrance door is now in the brick extension.
