Farmhouse. Late C16. Timber-framed, encased in brick, mostly colourwashed;
plastered gables, that to the left with applied timbering. Slated roof. 2
storeys and attic. 3-cell form with cross-passage entry. 3 windows, mid C20
3-light casements without glazing bars under segmental arches; half-glazed
entrance door. Internal stack. The main components of the frame are visible
in the upper rooms, and in the hall plain joists are exposed. Original stairs
removed. The roof structure has been renewed and a lower parallel rear wing
added in common brick, both perhaps c.1900
