Farmhouse. Mid C17 with later rear service range. Timber framed, pebbledash-
rendered; pantiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. 2 cell form. Casement windows
to the ground floor; large-paned sash windows to first floor with a small
casement window above the doorway. Lobby entrance with C19 4-panel door and
broad architrave. Central axial stack, also pebbledash-rendered. One room on
each floor has exposed studding and floor structure, with evidence for
original windows. Original newel stairs. The roof has 2 rows of unstepped
butt purlins. Immediately to the north is the site of the manor house of
Wathe Hall, with part of the encircling moat.
