Cottage, adjoining No.82 (q.v. Item 1/16) on the right. C18. 1½ storeys.
Rendered, probably over brick; clay pantiles. An end chimney-stack on the
left with a plain red brick shaft, and beyond it a single-storey lean-to
extension in matching materials. 2 old 2-light casements windows to the upper
floor, and one, with a segmental arched head to frame and surround, on the
ground floor. The recessed plank door has a similar arched head. The ground-
floor room has a main beam with small chamfer and joists set on edge; the open
fireplace has a timber lintel. At the rear, a long single-storey outbuilding,
in colourwashed clay lump with clay pantiles, formerly detached, has been
linked in with the cottage. Included for group value.
