- south of Home Farmhouse

GV II

Barn. Circa 1700. Timber-framed; part weatherboarded, part with wattle and
daub infill, part cased in corrugated iron sheeting; thatched roof. Frame
with bisected studs, primary braces, and middle rails set unusually low.
Arched braces to the tie-beams. Roof with 2 rows of stepped butt purlins, the
ends of the purlins pared off; in the end bays of the roof the rafters are
bisected by straight braces as in the wall-framing.
