2/10000 Tower Mill
Tower mill, now disused. Circa 1840. Battered English bond red
brick tower, circular on plan. 4 floors above the ground floor.
Tower reduced in height by one floor in early C20 when mill
dismantled. Various segmental-arched window openings, the windows
missing. 2 doorways (one blocked), one first floor loading
doorway. Interior: Original upper floors substantially intact;
bearers for 4 pairs of stones on 2nd floor, trimming for upright
shaft and sack traps. All machinery removed.
