A C16 timber-framed and plastered house, now 3 tenements, faced in roughcast.
There are double jettied crosswings at the north-east and south-west ends end
a jettied gable in the centre. 2 storeys and attics. 4 window range (1:2:1).
The crosswings have oriel bay windows, mullioned and transomed with leaded
lights. The centre part has double-hung sashes with glazing bars. There are 2
6-Panel doors and 1 C2O boarded door with fillets. The central doorway has
a pediment. Roof tiled, with a 3 shafted chimney stack (rebuilt) on a rectangular
base. The right hand tenement has a good panelled room with the Cavendish
arm on the ceiling. Old iron studded door.
