A C17 timber-framed and plastered house considerably altered in the C19, 1
storey and attics. A C19 2 storey wing extends to the north-east. The windows
are casements with leaded lights. At the north-east end there is a C20 shop
front. Roof tiled, with 2 C19 gabled dormers with ornemental bargeboards.
A crossing at the south-west end also has ornamental bargeboards. Roof tiled
with a diagonal shafted chimney stack on a rectangular base. The C19 extension
on the north-east end is painted brick with blocked door and window openings
and a slate roof.

All the listed buildings in The Green form a group.
