An early Cl9 white brick building set back from the High Street. 3 storeys.
The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in tall window openings
with semi-circular gauged brick arched heads, arranged in pairs. There is
a weatherboarded loft hoist on the east side and a panel bears the initials
JSG and the date 1841. Roof slate.

Church Cottages, Chinnerys and premises occupied by Chris Bolden & Co,
George Hotel, Cosy Nook, Almore House, Corner Cottage, Mill occupied by
A Kahn, Cavendish House, The Rectory, Premises occupied by W J Cutting, Spring
View, Middle Cottage, Water View, Canford House and St Ronans form a group.

Church Cottage also form a group with the Church of St Mary and Church Farmhouse,
Peacocks Road.
