A C17 timber-framed and plastered house with a late C18 or early C19 brick front
on the south side with a parapet, now painted. 2 storeys. 3 window range on
the south front and 1 window range on the west gable end, double-hung sashes
with glazing bars, in plain reveals. The ground storey has a C19 shop front
with a corner entrance. A 4-panel door with deep reveals has a wood doorcase
with narrow pilasters and a cornice hood. A wing extends to the north with 1
window range. Roof tiled.

No 31 with Nos 1 to 8 (consec) and all the listed buildings in Well Lane
form a group.
