A C15 timber-framed and plastered house with C16 and C17 alterations and additions.
It stands at right angles to the street with 2 gabled wings set back at the north
east end. One was added in the C17 and one has C20 pargetting, renewed in the
old pattern. The block facing the street on the south west side was rebuilt
in the C20. Part of the north-east end has exposed close spaced studding. The
windows are mainly mullioned casements, some with old lattice leaded lights.
Roofs tiled. There is a fine crown post roof structure.

No 11, Nos 13 to 15 (consec), Nos 17, 18, Rose & Crown Public House, Nos 20, 22,
Orchard House and Nos 23 to 26 (consec) together with all the listed buildings
on the South-East Side form a group.
