A C17-C18 timber-framed and plastered house, with a cross wing at the east end.
Renovated in the C20. 1 storey and attics. Casement windows (C20). Roof thatched.
The attic is lit by a window in the gable.

Malting Farmhouse, No 51 (The Cottage), Thatch End, Nos 66 and 67
form a group.
