5/38 Holmlea


A C16 house. 2 storeys: 3-cell plan. Timber-framed and plastered in panels,
with coved jetty along the front and a later lean-to along the rear. Red brick
gable at south end. Plaintiled roof: C20 ornamental ridge-tiles. 2 internal
chimney-stacks with plain shafts. 3 windows: one early C19 small-paned bow
window, remainder early C19 3-light casements. 6-panel fielded door with eared
architrave and convex frieze.
