5/40 (The Elms)


House, an early C19 face to C16 and later core, 2 storeys and attics.
Tidber-fmaed, with the south end part of the front faced in white brick and the
remainder plastered. Plastered parapet and cornice. Slate roof. 7 windows:
small-paned sashes, those in the brick front with deep reveals, and segmental
arched heads. In south end wall, one 2-light casement with rounded heads to
lights and diamond leading. Recessed, off-centre door with 6 raised fielded
panels. Plain doorcase with flat pediment over, supported by console brackets.
