Farmhouse, C15, C16 and C17. 2 storeys and attics: L-shaped plan. Timber framed
with roughcast front range and plaintiled roofs. Large internal chimney stack
links the front and rear ranges: high rectangular base and 4 octagonal shafts
with moulded bases and corbelled caps. Late C16 front range: mid C19
casements, those on ground floor with open triangular pediments over: mid C19
fully enclosed porch. Rear range basically C15, with an extra storey added in
C17. Plastered, with random fenestration: casements, some C20, some with old
leaded panes. 2 gabled formers. An isolated farmhouse, standing within a large
3-sided moat.
