Cottage, c1840, of unusual vertical character with Gothick ornament. 3 storeys
and attic, 3 windows. Gable front, with 2 flanking gabled wings, 2 storeys, 1
window wide. Red brick with gault brick dressings at centre; fish-scale slate-
hung, above and on wings at first floor. Slated roofs with carved bargeboards
and finial ; rear chimney formerly with 2 moulded shafts now demolished. Central
sash window with arched upper panes. Wrought iron casements with diamond and
hexagonal panes or oblong panes. Boarded entrance door. C.1980 extension to
left not of special interest.
