House, mid C16, altered and extended early C17 and early C19. 2 storeys and
attics; 3 windows. Timber framed, rendered; right-hand range has studwork
exposed in jettied first floor walling, with traces of pink colour wash.
Pantiled roof; red brick chimney late C16 or early C17 with 3 attached lozenge
flues. Early C19 wrought iron small-pane casements; a small C16 2-light roll-
moulded mullioned window and another with diamond mullions (restored). C20 1-
storey plaintiled entrance porch. Mid C16 jettied north range of 2 bays has
good quality but unmoulded frame; added to an earlier, now demolished, house at
north end. c1600, a probable open kitchen added at south end, with axial
chimney replacing earlier end stack; 3 open fireplaces with cambered timber
lintels. Windbraced clasped purlin roof over jettied range probably c1600.
Kitchen floored over and re-roofed early C19.
