A terrace of 4 almshouses built for Sir Thomas Kitson Junior, early C17.
Remodelled early C19. One storey with attics, 2 windows each cottage. Timber-
framed, rendered with herringbone pargetting. Brick gable walls. Thatched
roof with 1 axial and 2 gable chimneys of red brick; gabled casement dormers
with carved bargeboards. Wrought iron casements with diamond leaded lights.
Boarded entrance doors.
