5/13 Six Bells Inn

Public house and dwelling. C17, with mid C19 extensions. Part 1½ storeys,
part 2: basic 3-cell plan. Timber-framed and roughcast to original house with
slate roof, aligned east-west. Internal chimney-stack with plain rebuilt
shaft. C20 casement windows with single bar, and C20 door. C19 extension in
white gault brick, with gable end in random flint and red brick: slate roof. A
small-paned tripartite sash window in flush frame to ground storey: 2 small-
paned sashes in flush frames to upper storey. C20 door. Along the east side
of the extension a single-storey C19 lean-to in flint and red brick rubble,
with white brick at corners and pantiled roof.
