3/22 Mothersoles
14.7.55 (Formerly listed as Pelham House)


Early C16. 2 storeys: L-shaped plan. Timber-framed, mainly with exposed
timbering. Pantiled roofs. Cross-wing jettied, with a single-storey plastered
extension on its north side and a small timbered extension, forming a porch, on
the south. Internal chimney-stack to main range has a large square shaft with
a sunk panel on each face patterned with blue headers. An early C17 2-bay
extension at the south end of the main range is plastered externally. Mainly
mid C20 casements with square leading. Early C20 entrance door. Good
timbering inside, and the remains of a plank-and-muntin screen.
