5/24 Hillfield Cottage

Cottage, probably a fragment of a larger house. Early C17, with older core.
One storey and attic: 3 bays. Timber-framed and rendered, with end chimney-
stack and thatched roof. 2-light and 3-light C20 casement windows. C20
entrance door at rear. Interior has some very heavy timbering. Indications of
medieval origin and later alterations, including a doubled wall-plate.
