TL 97 SW HONINGTON MALTING ROW (SOUTH SIDE)

A pair of cottages. Circa 1870. 2 storeys. Black flint to front, some knapped,
rubble flint to sides and rear. Red brick dentil cornice, rusticated red brick
quoins and window surrounds. Black glazed pantiled roof. Internal chimney-
stack. Early C20 3-light casement windows with small panes to tops of lights
and flush frames: surrounds with arched heads. Plank doors. A near-
contemporary rear extension, 1½ storeys, in matching materials. Arched
heads to windows and doors. One reused C18 window with square-leaded panes in
west gable wall. Included for group value.
