Cottage. C15, altered in C17. 1½ storeys: 4 bays. Timber-framed and
plastered, with pantiled roof. Internal chimney-stack. A small lean-to
extension on the east end. 3-light casement windows: one gabled dormer.
Interior has very heavy timbering, with closely spaced studs: one blocked
original doorway. Indications that the hall ceiling and chimney-stack are
inserted: on upper floor, tie-beams cut, and roof raised by about 12 inches,
probably in C17. Under restoration.
