TL 86 NE TIMWORTH THE GREEN

2/31 Green Farmhouse.

Farmhouse, set sideways-on to road. Early C19 exterior; indications of an
earlier core. White brick, probably encasing an earlier timber'frame; clay
pantiles. Two-span roof, both ranges hipped towards the road and gabled away
from it; overhanging eaves. An internal chimney-stack with a high square
white brick shaft to each range. The front range has 4 irregularly-spaced
small-paned sash windows in flush frames to each storey, and an off-centre
door with 6 applied panels, the top 2 glazed; plain rectangular fanlight.
Internal shutters to both storeys. The rear range has small-paned 2-light and
3-light casement windows with rounded heads to frames and rounded arches to
surrounds.
