An estate cottage of c. 1850, in random kidney flint with white brick
dressings. Single storey. C20 concrete plaintiles, fluted barge-boards to
gables. An internal chimney stack, with 4 round shafts of moulded brick in
different designs, on a square white brick base ornamented with panels of black
knapped flint. Plain 3-light casements in rectangular openings of chamfered
brick. Gabled porch with fluted barge-boards, and a large drop finial at the
apex of the roof: doorway, and a small single-light window on each sidewall,
all with pointed Gothic arches. Plank door inside porch, with ornate wrought
iron hinges and applied pilaster strips. A contemporary wing in the same
materials at the rear.
