2/37 Gravestone to east of Porch
- St. Peter's Churchyard.

A small headstone of local historical interest. Late C17. Bowed front, and
raised surround with scrolled ornament. The inscription reads: 'Here lieth ye
body of William Sakings, he died ye 28 of March 1689. He was forkner
(falconer) to King Charles ye 1st, King Charles ye 2nd and King James ye 2nd.
Aged 78 years.'
