A pair of cottages. C18. 2 storeys and attics. Timber-framed, on a high
plinth of small red Tudor bricks, laid in random bond. Brick infill between
studs, colour-washed on sides, partially rendered on front. All external
timbering is heavily weathered. High-pitched, fully hipped, plaintiled roof.
Internal chimney-stack with a plain white brick shaft. The building is divided
into 2 matching cottages, each half having a 3-light C19 casement window and
adjacent plank door, a higher single window to light the corner staircase, 2 2-
light casements to the upper storey, and a gabled dormer set into the roof-
slope. A single storey lean-to extension along the whole rear is in square
framing, with white brick infill, and pantiled roof. There is exposed
