2/25 The Old Rectory

Former parsonage house. Circa. 1850. 2 storeys. Colour-washed, rendered
exterior, hipped slate roofs with wide eaves overhang and modillion cornice. 3
windows to main range: small-paned sashes with heavy projecting composition
stone surrounds: eared architraves, bracketed sills. Portico with square
piers, dentil cornice to architrave, and a window with rounded head on each
side. The south (garden) front has the ground storey windows in a single-storey
flat-roofed projection. Adjoining the main house on the north side, is another
range in the same style, aligned north-south, with 2-span roof, similar windows
and an enclosed gabled porch on the north side with high copings to gable. For
