Barn immediately to the east of Stanton Road Farmhouse

Barn. Early C18. Timber-framed and weatherboarded with pantiled roof. A
full height porch on the west side. Frame in 5 bays, with full height studs
bisected by primary braces. Trusses with arched braces to tie-beams. Roof in
10 bays, with 2 bays corresponding to one wall-bay: 2 rows of stepped butt-
purlins and a ridge-piece. The 2 bays at the south end have a later upper
storey. Included for Group Value with the house.
