3/53 Mill farmhouse


Former farmhouse associated with the windmill. Early C19. 2 storeys: a late
example of 3-cell lobby-entrance plan. Red brick, with black-glazed pantiled
roof. The internal chimney-stack has a plain red brick shaft. Tumbled
gables. A one-and-a-half storey lean-to along the rear wall. C20 standard
casement windows to ground storey, set into older surrounds with gauged white
brick heads. 3-light casement windows with a single bar to upper storey. An
enclosed, gabled porch. Included for Group Value with the mill.
