Farmhouse. C17 and later. Part 2 storeys and attics, part one-and-a-half
storeys; complex form. Timber-framing to main range, partly encased in red
brick, partly rendered. Red brick later additions; slate roofs, steeply
pitched. 3-cell main range with an internal chimney-stack: the red brick
shaft has 2 high arched and recessed panels. C20 3-light casement windows
with transomes. Extending forward from part of the front of the main range, a
2-storey early C19 red brick addition, separately roofed, with an end chimney-
stack. A small-paned sash window in cased frame to each storey. In the angle
between the 2 ranges, a 2-storey red brick porch addition with a doorway in
Georgian style. At the rear, a one-and-a-half storey range with dormer
windows.
