1/10 Church Cottage


Cottage. Early C19. One-and-a-half storeys; L-shaped plan. Clay lump,
rendered externally; thatched roof. An internal chimney-stack with 2 circular
shafts in ornately-moulded white brick. Various 2-light casement windows to
each storey: slight eyebrows in the thatch over the upper windows. 2 plank
doors. Said to have been divided into 2, but apparently built as one house.
In traditional style: included for Group Value with the church.
