House. C17, modernised. One-and-a-half storeys; 2-cell form. Timber-framed
and rendered; thatched roof. Internal chimney-stack, with a plain shaft of
small red bricks. 3-light C20 casement windows to ground storey; 2 gabled 2-
light dormer windows; plank door, with open porch roof above. A single storey
lean-to along the rear. The 2 halves of the house may be of different dates:
to the west of the stack, the room was formerly divided into 2 by a partition
wall, now removed, and the chimney-stack appears to have been built in 2
stages. Much of the frame is concealed. Included for Group Value with the
steam mill.
