House. C17 core. 2 storeys. Timber-framed; encased in early C19 red brick,
clay pantiled roof. An internal chimney-stack with a plain rebuilt red brick
shaft. 3-light late C19 casement windows with a single cross-bar to lights:
rendered gauged heads to ground storey. Enclosed gabled brick porch with
black-glazed pantiles. Plain bargeboards to gables. A row of small cast iron
lions' heads spaced along the face of the guttering. Adjoining the south-east
corner of the house and stretching across the front are low early C19 cast
iron railings, with pointed acanthus-leaf tops; 2 gates with honeysuckle
decoration and gateposts topped by pineapples. Interior has exposed
timbering, early C17 to ground storey, with evidence of roof-raising above.
