Farmhouse. C18, extended and altered in early C19. 2 storeys and attics; L-
shaped form. Timber-framed, with front and rear walls plastered and pargetted
in panels of comb-patterning; side walls, rear wing, and single storey lean-to
extension along rear wall of main range, all in rubble flint with white brick
quoins and dressings. Hipped, plaintiled roofs. 2 internal chimney-stacks
with plain white brick shafts. 3-light casement windows with transome, and 2
canted bays to the ground storey front, with small-paned sash windows which
rise above the level of the ceilings inside. Early C20 enclosed single-storey
white brick porch. The interior contains a good C18 stair with twisted
balusters, rising in a straight flight, with a galleried landing above, and
panelled side.
