House, now divided into 2 cottages. Late C16. One-and-a-half storeys; 2-cell
end-chimney plan. Timber-framed and rendered; the north-east gable end is
faced with Tudor red bricks. Thatched roof, hipped at the south-west end.
Chimney-stacks, one at the north-east end and another, added in C19, at the
rear, both with plain white brick shafts. Small-paned casement windows; 2
eyebrow dormers; plank doors. A single-storey lean-to addition at the south-
west end, and another along the rear wall. Interior with plain, good quality
framing; reversed braces at the corners, ground storey fireplace with timber
lintel ; ceiling with plain joists set flat and chamfered main beam; side
purlin roof.
