1/67 The Old Rectory

Former rectory. Early C19. 2 storeys. Timber-framed and rendered.
Slate roof, with overhanging eaves: the soffit is decorated with
an unusual raised lozenge motif. Small-paned sash windows in
flush frames to both storeys, but those to the upper storey are
shorter, with half-length panes at top and bottom. Half-glazed
double doors below a portico with fluted columns and pilasters
and a Doric frieze and cornice. The return(garden) front has 4
long late C19 French windows to ground storey, and 4 small-paned
sash windows with half-panes at topand bottom to the upper storey.
On the east, a 2-storey C19 extension with casement windows.
