A pair of estate cottages in Y-form. Circa 1840. One-and-a-half storeys.
Random kidney flint with rusticated red brick dressings; fishscale slate roofs
with ornamental ridge-tiles. A central chimney-stack has 3 attached red brick
shafts with corbelled heads on a corbelled base. The 3 legs of the Y
terminate in ornate shaped gables. 2-light windows in Tudor style with
ornamental cast-iron casements in rectangular chamfered brick surounds; hood-
moulds over. The windows in the gables are set one above the other in panels
of red brick. 2 plank doors, with applied pilaster strips and rows of cast-
iron bolts; small timber porch roofs, supported on brackets.
